Urban Tracks

"represent" Jamel Shabazz

Dear visitor,

It is also one of our aims to give you some tips out of our bright capitals.

This time I'ld like to introduce you to the work of Jamel Shabazz. He is one of the most relevant street photographer. He had been showing the american black culture of New York over 30 years.

You can discover his art work in a free exhibition at the Maison Folie Wazemmes of Lille (france) until 25th March... not so many time left!

It is open from wednesday to Sunday.

Dear visitor,

This is my great pleasure to welcome you on this new web platform !

We have been working very hard on setting-up this website and therefore it is a very special day for us to finally open this space to the public. During your visit, you will discover some original cultural spots located in Paris, Berlin, and Budapest. This is the very first step towards, what we hope will turn out to be, an large-scale website extended over various European capitals!

Indeed, the “Urban Tracks” platform highlights some bright cultural places (and soon artists!) inside our capitals, to promote another way to consider cultural tourism which could bring the European citizens closer to what we consider the living culture.

This platform is wished to be an interactive back-and-forth dialogue with the visitors: you are more than welcome to react and comment the articles, suggest further tips and spots, even to propose articles (go to "contact")! If you are willing to be fully part of the project, you can apply as a team of four people to open a section concerning your own European capital. Let us know by sending an article concerning a place in your town, as well as an expression of interest to be partner.

Greetings,

Paul
